A stand-up comedian for more than 40 years, John Wing has performed all over the world, racking up 300 plus television appearances including six Tonight Shows, ten Montreal Comedy Festival Galas, a trip to the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent in 2013, and two CBC Comedy Specials. He has produced two record albums, This Is What I Look Like Naked, and Oh…Yeah…Right…Sorry.
John performed on Cruise ships for more than thirty years, starting on Royal Caribbean, moving on to Holland America, Regent, Oceania, and Crystal Cruises with stops along the way with Norwegian, Princess, and Celebrity.
A frequent contributor to CBC Radio, John had a regular spot on Definitely Not The Opera for many years, as well as more than 25 performances on The Debaters. His sitcom, Man, Woman, & Child, which he co-wrote and starred in, ran two seasons. John also wrote for the E! Entertainment show News Weasels, the WB Network, and the Saban Entertainment show, Breaker High. He has also published ten collections of poetry, one novel – A Car To Die For, and one memoir – Ventriloquism For Dummies.
