Meet Mike Cummings: a recovering drug addict and stand-up comic with a twisted sense of reality.  Mike is an expert in awkward social interaction and the thin fabric of manners and mutual gestures that hold our world together. 

Mike Cummings was born in South Carolina, raised on the island of Guam, and rehabbed in San Diego.  He’s been clean since April Fools Day, 1999, and now lives in Seattle.

Mike Cummings has a “story-teller” style of comedy.  Between waiting tables for more than a decade and doing comedy in the most P.C. city in the country, you won’t believe what comes out of his mouth.  He talks about his unique experiences with relationships and sex, his experiences with drugs and recovery, his experiences with religion.  He talks about working in the service industry.  He talks about racism and other prejudices.

Mike Cummings says what you want to say, but are afraid of the consequences.  You’ll think he’s insensitive and unapologetic, and right.  You’ll laugh; he’ll cry; everyone will need a shower.
